My research investigates how short-term pulses of water influence plant growth and primary productivity across an aridity gradient in Israel. I aim to understand how episodic water availability influences plant growth processes and shapes primary productivity in dryland ecosystems.
I research how forest thinning influences carbon storage and its distribution among ecosystem components in a Mediterranean Pine plantation. Using long term monitoring data together with field measurements, I assess how stand density shapes carbon dynamics and forest condition over time.
